What conditions do you treat?
This is a good question.
Conditions or illnesses do not arise on their own. They are not some entity that is separate from the health of the rest of the body. An illness of the physical or mental body is the result of the condition of the stream or chemistry that flows through the body, like the stream that flows past or through an orchard. It is the ‘health’ of this stream that determines the health and vitality of the plants and trees that it feeds.
So the question about what we treat must be considered in the light of two primary things. One is in the assessment of what is lacking in this stream. This of course relates to nutrients but even more important are the hormones and neurotransmitters. Dr. Haskell has found that a major step in improving health must include the balancing of hormones especially those of the adrenals, thyroid, pituitary and ovaries. Once these reach optimal levels then the real healing can take place and a state of health and vitality then becomes inevitable.
The second is just as important because most people’s ‘stream’ is polluted and therapy must be used to improve its clarity and purity. This polluted condition has to do with the air we breathe, the chemicals we swallow and rub into our skin, the metals in our teeth, the drugs we ingest, the smoke we inhale, the waste from our metabolism, the thoughts we believe and the emotions we hold onto.
And on another level, the deeper healing takes place by that magical and miraculous part of you that’s been with you since the moment of your conception. This power took hold of you, that single cell, and orchestrated every fiber, every nerve and muscle, every blood vessel to take its proper place and to function.
