Do you take insurance?

Taking on an ‘insurance’ patient adds a great deal of complexity to our Institute which must retain its focus on high quality patient care.

For us to deal with insurance companies whose sole purpose of enterprise is to trim the costs of their beneficiary by negotiating with us about what they will and will not pay for is not congruent with our mandate.

Insurance companies do not understand the need for extended medical consultation time or the conscientious need for the more comprehensive lab requisition. 

We have found that dealing with insurance claims requires an additional staff member who eventually quits because of the frustration of insurance inconsistencies and inhumane practices.

We also recognize the trend in the more holistically minded segment of our population to be moving towards dropping their everyday medical insurance, opting for a higher deductible, and investing their savings into their health.

We are acknowledging this trend by not dealing with medical insurance companies and by helping our patient’s costs by offering lab testing at a most reasonable price.

We provide receipts for every cost along with Dr. Haskell’s Utah medical license number.  These can be presented to your insurance company through your initiative.  Receipts can also be used for medical deductions on your tax returns.
